Summary
A fluid is anything that is liquid at room temperature. For example: water, coffee, gravy, ice cream, soup, yoghurt and jelly.
Fluid can build up in your body. If you have too much you may find it hard to breathe, get swelling in your legs, gain weight and increase your blood pressure.
Keep track of your fluids! You can weigh yourself, use a labelled drink bottle or use a fluid diary.
